Job Title:
IT Audit Specialist

Our organization seeks a meticulous IT audit specialist to conduct thorough assessments of our technology controls. This role involves evaluating the effectiveness of our IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) across critical systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct end-to-end audits focusing on ITGC and ITAC, including access controls, change management, data integrity, and interface controls.
2. Perform technical audits by reviewing application logic and backend data using Java and SQL understanding.
3. Evaluate compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices (e.g., COBIT, ISACA).
4. Document detailed audit findings and prepare clear, actionable reports.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risk areas and provide control recommendations.
6. Contribute to audit planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT audit or risk management.
2. Strong hands-on experience in testing ITGC and ITAC controls.
3. Working knowledge of Java and SQL for audit analysis.
4. Familiarity with industry control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISACA).

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with ISO 27001 audits or SWIFT CSCF compliance or SOX.
2. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or equivalent.
3. Exposure to GRC tools and audit management platforms.

Soft Skills:
1. Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
2. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to manage multiple audits and meet deadlines in a client-facing environment.
