Senior Cellular Biologist Leader

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Cellular Biologist to spearhead our team and drive strategic direction for the department.

The ideal candidate will oversee technical operations, manage staff, and foster a culture of excellence within the department.

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Cellular Biology Department.
  • Manage and supervise cellular biologists, including scientists, technicians, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence within the department.
  • Oversee the technical operations of the cellular biology department, including specimen receipt, processing, and analysis.
  • Prepare stains, mount slides, and microscopically study cells from the human body to detect evidence of cancer, hormonal abnormalities, and other pathological conditions.
  • Perform specialized and complex testing that involves microscopic screening and evaluation of gynaecological and non-gynaecological specimens.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess:

  • A degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, or relevant qualifications.
  • 5-6 years of experience in Cellular Biology.
  • Certification as a cellular biologist by a recognized professional organization.
