RNA Scientist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced RNA Research Specialist to join our team. This role will involve leading and supporting projects in the lab's research on RNA dynamics, RNA-protein interactions, and cellular responses to toxic RNA species.
The position requires a strong background in RNA biology, RNA-protein interactions, or cellular stress responses. Proficiency in molecular and cell biology techniques, such as RNA-seq, CRISPR/Cas9, immunofluorescence, and RNA immunoprecipitation, is essential. Experience with RNA-centric technologies and/or proteomics will be highly advantageous.
Key responsibilities include designing, planning, and executing experiments to study RNA flux, RNA-protein interactions, RNA modifications, and splicing changes under stress and disease conditions. The successful candidate will also contribute to the discovery and characterization of RNA condensates and their roles in cytoprotection, immune signaling, and autophagy.
Responsibilities- Lead and support projects in the lab's research on RNA dynamics, RNA-protein interactions, and cellular responses to toxic RNA species.
- Design, plan, and execute experiments to study RNA flux, RNA-protein interactions, RNA modifications, and splicing changes under stress and disease conditions.
- Contribute to the discovery and characterization of RNA condensates and their roles in cytoprotection, immune signaling, and autophagy.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students, research assistants, and interns in the lab.
- Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences and seminars.
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
- Strong background in RNA biology, RNA-protein interactions, or cellular stress responses.
- Proficiency in molecular and cell biology techniques, such as RNA-seq, CRISPR/Cas9, immunofluorescence, and RNA immunoprecipitation.
- Experience with RNA-centric technologies and/or proteomics will be highly advantageous.
