Senior Research Scientist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist to join our team at the Cancer Science Institute, National University of Singapore. The researcher will lead a project focused on understanding how RNA therapeutics escape from endolysosomes using advanced techniques such as CRISPR screening and proteomics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute molecular and cellular biology experiments to investigate RNA therapeutics.
  • Develop and apply genome-wide CRISPR screening, proteomics, and high-resolution imaging methods.
  • Contribute to project direction through hypothesis generation, experimental design, and data interpretation.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 first-author publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
  • Strong expertise in modern molecular biology techniques, including CRISPR technologies, next-generation sequencing, and proteomics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
