Director Job Description

The Director will lead the commercial printing business segment, developing and implementing strategies to drive growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and execute plans to increase market share and revenue.
    • Establish performance targets and operational goals for printing projects.
  • Operations & Production Management
    • Supervise print production lines, including pre-press, press, and finishing operations.
    • Optimize use of equipment (e.g., offset, digital, and finishing machines).
  • Client & Project Management
    • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Manage key accounts and develop proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Manage budgets, cost control, and pricing for print jobs.
    • Monitor P&L for the department and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Team Development
    • Lead, mentor, and train a team of production staff and supervisors.
    • Foster a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. He/She should have in-depth knowledge of commercial printing operations, logistics, and client delivery. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the printing industry is preferred.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can drive growth and innovation in the commercial printing division. The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute plans that meet business objectives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be established to measure success.
