Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Fellow to join our team in the field of mathematical and economic modelling of infectious diseases and pandemic preparedness.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge global health research, collaborate with world-leading experts, and develop an independent research portfolio in infectious disease epidemiology and health economics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and contributing to high-quality research on infectious disease modelling and health economic evaluations, designing and developing mathematical, epidemiological, and economic models for evaluating infectious disease interventions, and producing high-impact peer-reviewed publications.

  • Develop and lead innovative research projects aligned with our strategic priorities.
  • Design, develop, and extend mathematical, epidemiological, and economic models for evaluating infectious disease interventions.
  • Contribute to drafting and leading research grant applications as principal investigator or co-investigator.
  • Produce high-impact peer-reviewed publications.

A doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Mathematical Modelling, Health Economics, Public Health, or a related quantitative discipline is required.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent quantitative and analytical skills, proficiency in programming and modelling tools, strong writing and communication skills, and demonstrated expertise in infectious disease modelling and/or health economic evaluation.
