Job Title: Infectious Disease Modelling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to support our Principal Investigator in research projects on infectious disease dynamics and impact of control using mathematical and statistical models.

The successful candidate will work on a project studying infectious disease dynamics in Asia, undertaking literature reviews, analysing data using statistical and mathematical modelling techniques, writing reports, presentations, and publication of results and findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough literature reviews to identify key trends and insights
  • Analyse complex data using advanced statistical and mathematical modelling techniques
  • Develop high-quality reports, presentations, and publications that showcase research findings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or Biomedical/Life Sciences
  • Quantitative analysis experience with proficiency in Statistical software (R)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant research experience, Master's qualification, or experience in literature reviews and epidemiological data analysis
