The primary objective of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore is to develop the air hub and aviation industry in Singapore, expanding its global connections.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Price Regulation, you will be part of the Price Regulation team. The Price Regulation team ensures that Singapore remains a competitive air hub primarily through the pricing regulatory framework. You will also be involved in projects related to the economic and financial sustainability of the Changi air hub.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Analysis and assessment of financial performances of the Changi Airport and Seletar Airport licensees, including revenue and cost drivers.
  • Development, implementation, and review of pricing regulatory frameworks for Changi and Seletar Airports.
  • Management of matters related to the airport licensee, including reviewing airport economic regulation legislation and conditions, coordinating engagement sessions, reviewing requests, and approvals for regulatory matters.
  • Monitoring ICAO airport economic regulation matters and developing positions and interventions for Singapore where necessary.
  • Participation in work related to the financing of Changi East developments.
Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and a good team player.
  • Training in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting, or experience in economic regulation is preferred. However, candidates trained in other disciplines and with a keen interest in regulatory or policy work may be considered.

Important Notes:
Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience.

Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
