Job Summary:
Lift and escalator maintenance technicians are responsible for ensuring the safe operation of these critical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and relevant working experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair works on lifts and escalators to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous service.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with lift systems, using their knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems to resolve complex issues.
  • Replace faulty parts and components as necessary, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, including detailed notes and photographs.
  • Collaborate with team members and service providers to ensure timely and effective maintenance, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve overall performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in lift technology, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.


Requirements:
  • Prior 1-2 years of relevant working experience in elevator maintenance or a related field.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a logical and methodical approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a willingness to travel to different locations as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Nitec in Engineering qualification or equivalent.
