About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join our team. As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting annual inspections of elevator systems, identifying any defects or issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct annual inspections of elevator systems, including Full Load and Brake Tests
  • Develop, update, and implement inspection procedures and testing standards to ensure consistent quality
  • Coordinate inspection schedules and manage manpower deployment across multiple sites
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to confirm schedules and resolve on-site challenges
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues identified during inspections, and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes
  • Contribute to the refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promote best practices within the team

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in lift inspections or lift engineering, with responsibilities at the engineer level
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local lift inspection regulations and standards
