Cyber Security Leadership Role

As a trusted partner in the field of cybersecurity, we seek a seasoned professional to join our team as a Product Security Leader (PSL) for our strategic business unit. This senior technical non-supervisory role offers the opportunity to play a key role in directing cybersecurity and privacy strategies for all products developed within our portfolio.

This position is integral to our product security team and requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to influence the development of secure products. The successful candidate will serve as the chief advisor to our VP/CTO on product security, privacy strategies, and cyber risk management.

  • Serve as the lead advisor on product security, privacy strategies, and cyber risk management for our product portfolio.
  • Drive the development of secure products through collaboration with engineering teams and promotion of secure development practices.
  • Coach Product Security Directors, Security Architects, Security Champions & developers to enhance their product security capabilities.
  • Develop and implement product security metrics for continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in securing Cloud, Mobile, and on-premises software, including embedded Linux and RTOS systems, as well as installable Windows client and server software.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps and 2+ years of hands-on leadership experience in software development.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology and cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in secure software development lifecycle, threat modeling, security reviews, penetration tests, and security incident response.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Agile, SAFe, SCRUM, etc., development methodologies.
  • Security and privacy certifications demonstrating practical knowledge, with CSSLP preferred.
