We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Ward Service Associate.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our healthcare setting. Their duties will include serving food and drinks, clearing tables after meals, checking food served against patient meal orders, and assisting with inventory management. They will also be required to maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to health regulations, as well as support nurses in meeting patients' nutritional needs and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients
  • Serve food and drinks, and clear tables after meals
  • Check food served against patient meal orders
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to health regulations
  • Support nurses in meeting patients' nutritional needs
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare practices
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
