Job Title:

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Project Director

Description:
  • We are seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead our MEP projects from conception to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of MEP projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, addressing any risks or issues that may arise.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • The MEP Project Director will manage and mentor a team of engineers and drafters, ensuring adherence to standards and optimized workflows.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide training to junior staff.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • The successful candidate will oversee quality checks to meet industry standards.
  • Collaborate with QAQC teams to resolve issues and maintain quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
  • The MEP Project Director will maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and action plans.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
  • Knowledge of MEP systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with structural and architectural coordination a plus.
  • BCSS certification preferred.
  • CSCPM certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in DfMA, Prefabrication, and MEP systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with IDD tracking tools (Novade, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.).
  • Knowledge of project planning software (Microsoft Project, Primavera).
