Job Title: Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems Coordinator
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on major construction projects.
This position ensures that MEP activities are completed on schedule, adhere to quality and safety standards, and meet all design specifications. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and other disciplines to resolve field issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Coordination & Field Support: Plan and coordinate daily construction activities for MEP systems, ensuring alignment with master schedules and project milestones.
- Serve as Main On-Site Point of Contact: Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve MEP-related issues.
- Monitor Installation Progress: Escalate delays, manpower shortages, or material constraints to project leadership as required.
- Verify Installed Work: Ensure installed work complies with issued-for-construction (IFC) drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or a related field).
- Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP construction coordination, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech industrial projects.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; ability to read and interpret technical drawings; good communication and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction coordination tools.
