Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our transition planning efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the relocation project of an existing manufacturing site to a new greenfield facility.

Your primary focus will be on developing and executing a comprehensive transition plan that ensures minimal operational disruption. This includes designing, executing, and monitoring activities from the current facility to the new site.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align planning systems with operational and business requirements. Your expertise in master data management and production planning systems will be essential in setting up and validating master data for all manufactured and purchased parts.

Additionally, you will manage the evaluation, selection, and deployment of Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) systems, ensuring integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and alignment to business needs.

In this role, you will also deliver training and coaching for planners and cross-functional users on APS functionality, planning processes, and master data governance.

As a change management expert, you will drive efforts to ensure adoption and sustainability of new planning systems and processes. You will document and standardize new planning procedures and governance frameworks for the new plant.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

">

A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

">

You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, and/or master data management in manufacturing.

">

Aerospace, automotive, or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing experience is preferred.

">

PREFERRED SKILLS

">

We are looking for individuals with strong expertise in Master Data Management and production planning systems, particularly SAP.

">

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools is also desired.

">

Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into operational improvements is essential.

">

You should be comfortable working with large amounts of data and have excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

">

Experience with lean manufacturing and change management best practices is highly valued.
