Coastal Engineering Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a Coastal Engineering Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and analyzing coastal structures such as quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments, and land reclamation projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong technical skills and experience in civil engineering. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a reputable university and at least 2-5 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure and reclamation projects. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.

You will be responsible for carrying out design and analysis tasks, including soil investigation and result interpretation. You will also assist the Project Lead/Manager in managing subcontracts and supervising site work. Additionally, you will ensure that all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and codes of practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures
  • Assist in tender submission
  • Manage subcontracts
  • Supervise site work
  • Ensure compliance with statutory standards and regulations

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a reputable university
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure and reclamation projects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software
