Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Manager to lead our Data Centre operations team at NTT Data Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data centre facilities, including daily IT infrastructure and data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of support engineers, assign tasks, conduct performance reviews, and ensure 24x7 operations coverage.
  • Operational Excellence: Conduct routine site inspections to assess facilities, equipment, and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Process Development and Implementation: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to ensure consistent and efficient data centre operations.
  • Incident Management: Oversee daily operations, monitor data centre device alerts, manage incidents for servers, KVM, network devices, UPS, storage solutions, power, cooling, and security.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for clients on SLA, data centre maintenance activity, power consumption, bandwidth utilization, and ongoing projects.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, installations, and SLA compliance.
  • Capacity Planning and Forecasting: Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to support future growth and scalability of data centre structure.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and review data centre handbook, access registry, access card control, rack keys log, and CCTV review.
