About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Bartender to join our team at NOBU Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar, ensuring the consistent delivery of refined and impeccable service.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the full beverage program, including cocktails, liquors, beers, wines, non-alcoholic selections, daily specials, and recommended pairings.
  • Ensure precise preparation, garnish, presentation, and service of all beverages in alignment with established standards.
  • Supervise inventory control, requisitions, par stock levels, and the proper maintenance of all bar equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate closely with the food and beverage team to coordinate service for in-house events, VIP guests, and special occasions.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate bar personnel to maintain service excellence and product knowledge.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, address feedback promptly, and ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Contribute to beverage menu development and the curation of bespoke offerings.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of service experience in a luxury hotel or Michelin restaurant, including 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Preferably a Diploma graduate in Hospitality Management, Business, or its equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving and innovative thinking skills, with a team-oriented management style and an emphasis on open communication.
  • Strong expertise in beverage costing and cost control.
  • Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and crafted mixed drinks.
