Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Engineer to support an exciting data centre project on a 2-year contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical reviews of customer drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor and control engineering deliverable progress to ensure timely project completion.
  • Use tracking board tools to identify and mitigate potential project risks and opportunities.
  • Provide regular project progress and status reports to management.
  • Manage project risks and opportunities by assessing, identifying, mitigating, and controlling potential situations that could impact project performance.
  • Master variation order and claim processes for both customers and vendors.
  • Work with the Engineering Manager to obtain variation orders for any deviations from the contractual scope.
  • Mitigate conflicts with customers or internal stakeholders throughout the project installation phase.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Establish key relationships with project-relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Controls/Automation.
  • Previous experience as a senior automation/controls engineer and managing a team of programmer/application engineers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Modicon PLCs and EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly Unity Pro).
  • Knowledge of Citect SCADA.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Project (or similar) is a plus.
