Programme Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for conceptualising, developing, and implementing engaging curatorial programmes alongside colleagues.

Your primary focus will be on managing programme delivery, ensuring timely completion while fostering effective communication among all stakeholders. You will also oversee the project management lifecycle for Curatorial Programmes, encompassing budget allocation, scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation.

In this role, you will collaborate seamlessly with various teams to align programmes with ongoing exhibitions and collections. Additionally, you will provide logistical and administrative leadership, overseeing programme implementation and liaising with internal departments and curators for smooth programme execution.

You will partner with the Marketing & Communications team to develop compelling content for programme publicity materials and social media campaigns. Moreover, you will foster strong relationships with contemporary artists, artist communities, cultural institutions, academia, and creative partners, staying updated on current trends in artistic practices and community sentiment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualise, develop, and implement engaging curatorial programmes
  • Manage programme delivery, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets
  • Oversight of the project management lifecycle for Curatorial Programmes
  • Collaborate with various teams to align programmes with ongoing exhibitions and collections
  • Provide logistical and administrative leadership for programme implementation
Requirements
  • Degree in art or an equivalent arts-related field
  • Solid knowledge of contemporary art, including its key figures and significant developments
  • Strong interest in the arts, with established knowledge and a network within the local and/or regional arts and culture landscape
  • Between 3-7 years of relevant work experience, with a proven track record in creating content to curate or programme for the public
