Job Title: Compliance Risk Specialist

We seek a highly skilled Compliance Risk Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on regulatory matters, conducting thorough audits, and identifying potential risks to ensure seamless compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regulatory advisory services to the organization
  • Conduct annual audits of branch and social media websites to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Review and assess various agreements from a regulatory perspective to pinpoint potential risks
  • Assess and offer inputs on compliance risks during provider due diligence exercises
  • Conduct due diligence for onboarding new product providers
  • Review and disseminate all new changes to regulatory requirements
  • Perform Functional Area Regulatory Obligatory Mapping (FAROM) on regulatory changes and address potential gaps noted from gap analysis
  • Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in providing advisory on the impact of regulatory changes to management/business units
  • Collate and consolidate necessary responses from business units for MAS' consultation papers for submission to MAS
  • Assist in planning and implementing revised processes and procedures in response to regulatory changes
  • Assist HOD in maintaining the role as 2 Line of Defence
  • Conduct training and coaching to 1st line where applicable
