Job Title: Data Quality Oversight

A robust data quality framework is essential for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing this framework, ensuring that it is aligned with industry best practices.

  • Establish and oversee the data quality metrics, including completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and validity, across multiple systems and processes.
  • Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design remediation strategies.
  • Implement tools and processes for proactive data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data quality matters across internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Partner with data owners, data stewards, and business teams to drive adoption of best practices in data governance and stewardship.

  • Provide Expertise on Data Governance and Stewardship

Candidate Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of asset management industry processes, data flows, and operating models.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong risk and control mindset with the ability to identify weaknesses and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Detail-oriented, structured thinker with the ability to work across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external service providers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 12-15 years' experience in the Asset Management industry, with a focus on data management, data governance, or investment operations.
  • Proven experience managing data quality frameworks across major asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Strong knowledge of reference data, benchmark/index data, pricing data, and market data management.
  • Experience with data governance tools, data lineage, and data quality monitoring solutions.
