Business Transformation Leader Job Description

We are embarking on a strategic journey to elevate our fleet safety culture and improve our maritime safety record.

To drive this change effectively, we seek an experienced Business Transformation Leader to collaborate with our Director, Fleet Safety. The role will develop and execute tactical transformation solutions for business areas impacted by strategic improvements.

This position will work strategically to design organisational transformation strategies and plans, and tactically to implement activities required to deliver these strategies and plans.

  • Develop and implement a business transformation strategy and plan to drive successful implementation.
  • Include all aspects of change analysis, planning, and delivery, such as communication and engagement requirements, leadership support, training and capability building, resistance management, and change governance.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and teams to deliver and coordinate organisational change and operational activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to manage business impacts and concerns.
  • Manage and coordinate all activities and initiatives identified within the business transformation strategy and plan.
  • Drive deployment and change adoption into the business, ensuring effective feedback mechanisms to monitor progress and report outcomes.
Job Requirements
  • Change Management Practitioner Certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Change Manager on enterprise projects or programs, demonstrating high levels of interpersonal effectiveness, excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating, change analysis and planning, and delivery and embedding change.
  • Experience working in maritime or other high-risk safety organisations.
  • Experience delivering change using hybrid planned change and agile methodology.
  • Experience implementing multiple types of change, including cultural, technology, process re-design, restructuring, etc.
  • Excellent planning and organising skills in managing concurrent workstreams of change, with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Highly experienced in developing multi-media information resources for communication, engagement, and knowledge building.
  • Occasional travel to operation sites, including international travel, may be required.
