Job Title: HVAC Specialist

\

HVAC specialists design and install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in buildings. This includes planning, managing, and executing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Develop and implement HVAC system designs, taking into account factors like energy efficiency, cost, and safety.\
  • Manage and supervise teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.\
  • Collaborate with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure HVAC systems meet building codes and regulations.\
  • Test and commission HVAC systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.\
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with existing HVAC systems.\
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in the field of HVAC engineering.\
  • Perform site visits to assess conditions and ensure compliance with project specifications.\
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and equipment.\
  • Prepare and review project reports, proposals, and presentations.\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.\
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.\
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.\
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including timesheets, expense reports, and meeting minutes.\

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.\
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC engineering or a related field.\
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building codes, and regulatory requirements.\
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\
  • Proficiency in CAD software, MS Office, and other relevant tools.\
