Senior Laboratory Associate Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Laboratory Associate. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in BioMedical/Life Science or a related field, along with 3 years of laboratory hands-on experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will perform comprehensive laboratory testing from end-to-end genetic testing process.
  • They will be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results.
  • Furthermore, they will adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures to ensure accurate and consistent test results.
Technical Skills:
  • The candidate must have expertise in NGS library preparation and sequencing.
  • Validation and troubleshooting of NGS assays is also crucial for this position.
  • In addition, genome sequencing, data analysis, and reporting skills are essential.
Qualifications:
  • A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Life Science or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical lab experience is necessary, preferably in a CAP-accredited or MOH-licensed laboratory setting.
