About Science Teaching Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Science Teachers to join our team at Seashell Academy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Science and be able to deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of our students.

Seashell Academy is a leading provider of tuition services in Singapore, specializing in Mathematics, Science, and Chinese tuition for primary school students preparing for the PSLE. Our team of experienced educators is dedicated to helping children build strong foundations and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective Science lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus and PSLE requirements.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and experiments to foster curiosity and deep understanding.
• Assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt lessons to different learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents on students' performance and learning strategies.
• Work closely with the academic team to share teaching best practices and support curriculum enhancement.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and events (e.g., Open House, workshops).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a tuition centre, enrichment school, or MOE school (PSLE level preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Singapore MOE Science syllabus and exam techniques.
• Passionate about teaching, patient with children, and strong in classroom management.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred, to communicate effectively with parents and students.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends depending on class schedules.
