Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a strategic role that involves implementing the Global Markets Programme – Risk Project using Murex v3.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, working with vendors, and driving testing with end-users to ensure a successful project deployment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver change solutions to enable effective risk management.
  • Understand key market risk concepts including traded products, Value-at-Risk (VaR), stress testing, and risk/limit management.
  • Understand key credit risk concepts including traded products, counterparty risk, credit approval process, limit management, and excess management.
  • Have strong technical knowledge in the Murex domain.
  • Have good business domain knowledge of banking & trading book.
  • Understand datamart and simulation module in GMP.
  • Effectively communicate with technical stakeholders and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solve problems, analyze data, and synthesize information.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Influence stakeholders to achieve alignment within the organization.
  • Implement large-scale applications or other large projects.
  • Focus on delivery and results.
  • Understand software development cycles.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with MUREX.
  • Functional understanding of counterparty risk and pricing factor engineering.
  • Experience in product pricing methodologies.
  • Experience in VaR, Market Risk Assessment (MRA), and Market Risk Exposure (MRE) Configurations.
  • Understanding of model assignments, market data, rate curves, etc.
  • Understanding of simulations and datamart module.
  • Strong technical & functional background.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or finance domain.
  • Related professional/technical qualification is advantageous.
  • Strong Murex Knowledge.
