Job Title: Procurement Strategist
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Procurement Strategist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in sourcing and procuring casting and machining parts for various agricultural equipment such as tractors, harvesters, loaders, and more.
Your key responsibilities will include managing the request for quotation (RFQ) process, conducting pre-RFQ activities, engaging in commercial negotiations, and preparing recommendations based on defined deliverables in alignment with our commodity strategy.
You will be tasked with achieving annual cost savings, supporting value analysis/value engineering initiatives, and staying updated on raw material market intelligence by publishing monthly management information system (MIS) reports.
In addition, you will collaborate with key stakeholders globally and domestically to drive procurement and other commodity initiatives forward.
To excel in this role, you should have 8-12 years of relevant experience and hold a degree in mechanical engineering (BE/B.Tech).
Your expertise in strategic sourcing, cost negotiation, and stakeholder management will be critical in contributing to the success of our team.
