Job Overview

A construction director is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities and progress. Their main goal is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand structural drawing specifications and requirements to guide site operations effectively.
  • Supervise works and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Lead a team of workers and subcontractors to perform on-site work efficiently.
  • Resolve site problems encountered during the construction period through effective problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times by adhering to quality control and safety protocols.

Additional Tasks: Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of structural drawing, specifications, and requirements to guide site operations effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and lead site teams.
  • Ability to resolve complex site issues independently using effective problem-solving skills.
