Job Title: Senior Strategic Buyer for Aircraft Systems
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of aircraft systems, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. You will work closely with airline customers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to implement specifications on aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with OEMs and suppliers to ensure product quality and compliance with airworthiness standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support aircraft placement campaigns and marketing efforts.
- Evaluate airline customer specifications and provide pricing inputs.
- Develop a sustainable buying strategy for Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) engagement.
- Lead pricing negotiations with BFE suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Technical Services, Procurement, or Aircraft Project roles.
- Strong knowledge of civil aviation jurisdictions and airworthiness requirements.
- Able to think strategically and analyze complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
