Network Infrastructure Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Network Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our network operations group, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for our network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of switching and routing concepts, as well as hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CCNA-certified engineer to gain valuable experience in both wired and wireless networking.
Responsibilities:- Perform basic configuration of switches and routers.
- Set up and troubleshoot VLANs and port security.
- Assist in diagnosing connectivity issues for laptops, desktops, and servers.
- Trace physical network connections and identify switch ports.
- Support network monitoring and incident escalation processes.
- Work with senior engineers on routine maintenance and upgrades.
- Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Diploma or higher in Networking, Information Technology, or related field.
- Min 1 year experience.
- CCNA certification preferred.
- Basic understanding of switching and routing concepts.
- Familiarity with VLAN configuration, spanning tree protocol, and port security.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
- Exposure to OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Knowledge of 802.1x authentication.
- Experience tracing endpoints in Layer 2 switch environments.
