We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Coastal Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our project execution team, you will be responsible for delivering complex technical coastal/marine projects from concept to completion.

  • Lead and prepare proposals in the field of port and terminal involving navigation, mooring and marine risk assessments

Key Responsibilities:

Numerical Modelling

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in numerical modelling and experience with software such as MIKE by DHI. You will be responsible for developing and applying numerical models to study hydrodynamics, waves condition, as well as inland flood modelling for climate adaptation studies.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently on complex technical projects. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Project Management

You will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, including marine risk assessments, mooring simulations, navigation simulations and proposal preparation. This will involve working closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex technical projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Proposal Preparation

You will be responsible for leading and preparing proposals in the field of port and terminal involving navigation, mooring and marine risk assessments. This will involve conducting research, gathering data, and developing compelling proposals that meet the needs of our clients.

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry and be able to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science or oceanography, and at least 10 years' experience in execution of challenging technical coastal/marine projects. Experience with programming languages such as Matlab, Python or R is also desirable.
