Operations Manager Job Description:

A shop operations manager oversees daily store activities, supervises and trains staff, manages inventory, finances, and ensures excellent customer service to achieve store goals and maintain safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team to meet performance targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory and Stock: Monitor stock levels, order new products, and maintain accurate inventory records for efficient stock management.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer satisfaction, handle inquiries and complaints professionally, and implement strategies to improve the customer experience.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee daily store operations, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  • Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement sales strategies, manage promotional activities, and monitor sales performance to achieve revenue goals.
  • Financial Management: Monitor store cash flow, manage budgets, handle daily financial transactions, and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Safety and Security: Implement effective safety measures to protect customers and staff, and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
