Project Manager Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver projects that span multiple business units. This involves managing issues, risks, dependencies, and project change within stage gate controls.

  • Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning to budget, change, risks, and issues.
  • Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes.
  • Deliver effective executive-level communication.
  • Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverables, and communicating across leadership and business stakeholders.

This role requires a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business. The successful candidate will own the full project life cycle end to end.

  • Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives.
  • Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of the project.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, including project management working and steering committees.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
Requirements
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated at least 10 years of experience in project management with product and operational expertise in banking, investments in the Private Bank domain.
  • Sound knowledge in Private Bank operational process, investment products domain, and services.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
