Crystallography Expert - Senior Research Fellow

NTU is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crystallography Expert to join our team in the Faculty of Materials Science and Physics. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to cutting-edge research in materials science and physics.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Materials Science, Physics, or a related field and extensive experience in crystallography, including single crystal, powder, and pair distribution function analysis.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operating and maintaining advanced analytical equipment.
  • Conducting maintenance on these machines, collaborating with vendor engineers to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.
  • Developing and delivering courses on X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently.
