Job Description:

  • Conduct research in mining equipment/product design, development, and testing, with experience in mechanical systems, industrial product development, or safety-related technologies.
  • Develop and implement research projects under the guidance of a research leader, contributing to the development of research activities.
  • Support the dissemination of research outcomes through appropriate channels and outlets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD in Mining/Safety/Mechanical Engineering or related areas.
  • Demonstrated capability in mining equipment/product design, development, and testing, with experience in mechanical systems, industrial product development, or safety-related technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines, and build effective relationships.
