Information Security Consultant: Third Party Cyber Assurance Specialist
Job Description:The role of the Information Security Consultant: Third Party Cyber Assurance Specialist is to conduct in-depth security assessments of third-party vendors providing services to our organization. This involves examining a third party's information security program to determine if it meets our requirements, identifying control gaps that may expose us to risks, and working with the third party on remediation activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of information security controls and processes. You will be responsible for evaluating the design and effectiveness of controls implemented by third parties and driving remediation of issues identified through the assessments.
Additionally, you will interface with external third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to provide consultation on information security topics and build strong working relationships with these parties.
As a seasoned professional in this field, you will contribute to the development and transformation of our Third Party Cyber Assurance program.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and execute assessments of third-party vendors
- Evaluate design and effectiveness of controls implemented by third parties
- Drive remediation of issues identified through the assessments
- Interface with external third-party vendors and internal stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience in information technology/security audit/assessment, be able to leverage attention to detail and analytical skills, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Technical skills include domains such as information security controls, IT compliance, change management, enterprise risk management, and solid grasp of NIST, PCI, ISO, SDLC, COBIT, and ITIL standards.
Able to speak Mandarin and write in Simplified and Traditional Chinese due to interactions with 3rd parties in the Greater China region.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Experience in Cloud technologies, OSINT, and threat modeling will be advantageous.
