About Hub Strategy

Hub Strategy is responsible for developing and executing national strategies to strengthen Singapore's value propositions as a business hub. This includes attracting headquarters, facilitating international organisations that support industry development, and enhancing connectivity.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager or Senior Manager, Hub Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading workstreams in Hub Strategy and will have opportunities to exercise peer leadership in inter-divisional and inter-agency working groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of global trends to derive relevant insights and implications for Singapore's hub development strategies.
  • Design and develop value propositions and programmes to encourage targeted foreign investment in Singapore and support long-term local industry development.
  • Implement strategies, policy changes, and industry development programmes by working closely with internal stakeholders and industry and government agency partners.
  • Serve as the whole-of-government contact person with respect to international organisations, engaging a diverse range of IOs and government agencies to advance policy and strategy outcomes for Singapore.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a strategy, consulting, policy, research, or industry development role.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to structure analysis for complex and ambiguous issues.
  • Keen business acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities for Singapore at an industry level.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the business environment and changes in priorities.
  • Good team player and independent thinker.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in quantitative analysis.
  • Experience in strategy development and execution.
  • Understanding of or experience working with international organisations.
