Job Title: Mechanical Drafter/Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter/Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and preparing manufacturing drawings of electrical switchboards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in BIM, VertexG4, and AutoCad M&E 3D drawings. They should also have excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare manufacturing drawings of electrical switchboards
  • Assemble modular drawings based on panel design
  • Perform weight, heat loss calculations, and air flow simulations as required
  • Prepare material order lists for mechanical parts
  • Liaise with vendors for material enquiries
  • Work closely with manufacturing and production teams


Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge in BIM, VertexG4, and AutoCad M&E 3D drawings
  • Mechanical background with 2D and 3D drafting skills
  • Able to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and specifications
  • Proficient in 3D software, flat pattern development, PC skills, and able to learn new software applications quickly
