Electrical Drafter Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and design documents for various electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Prepare high-quality drawings and detailed design documents using BIM Modeling, AutoCAD, and Revit software platforms.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and managers at all levels to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting technology to maintain technical competency and proficiency.
  • Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects from sketches or notes.
  • Finalize and duplicate drawings and documentation packages according to required mediums and specifications.
  • Conduct quality control checks to determine quality, cost, strength, and quantity of required materials and enter figures on materials lists.
  • Communicate effectively with production or construction teams to explain drawings and provide necessary adjustments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM Modelling software applications.
  • Able to read and understand engineering documents and technical specifications.
  • Knowledgeable in the most recent version of AutoCAD software platforms.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
