Job Description:

As a Civil and Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of engineering works related to buildings, roads, drains, sewers, earthworks, underground buildings, and temporary structures.

  • Plan and design C&S engineering works to ensure compliance with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Perform analysis and design for projects, taking into account local and international codes and requirements.
  • Supervise the drafting of drawings related to design and ensure they are accurate and complete.
  • Manage project stakeholders, clients, design teams, site teams, and other relevant parties to achieve project goals.
  • Cordinate with contractors, project teams, and design consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must possess a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
  • Prior working experience in structural engineering projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with structural engineering design to local codes, regulations, and requirements, as well as Eurocode.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, MIDAS, etc.
  • Familiarity with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works.
  • Experience in design/project management works in BIM.
  • Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, and construction administration.
