Drone Technical Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Drone Technical Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This position involves setting up, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing UAVs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all drone systems meet operational standards.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics, and have a willingness to travel and work in field environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting hardware issues and ensuring that drone systems meet operational standards.
  • Identifying problems, diagnosing faults, and implementing solutions to prevent future issues from arising.

Familiarity with flight planning software, such as DroneDeploy, Pix4D, Litchi, or QGroundControl, would be an advantage in this role.

Required qualifications include a diploma in electrical engineering or electronics engineering, 0-2+ years of hands-on experience with drones/UAV systems, ability to interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, willingness to travel and work in field environments.

Prior experience with drone platforms such as DJI, Parrot, senseFly, or custom builds would be advantageous.
