Job Overview

This role is centered on the design and development of hardware products.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electronics engineering and be able to drive performance, functionality, cost optimization, test efficiency, manufacturability, and quality in delivered products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product concepts from inception to delivery, ensuring that products meet all necessary specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in development and maintenance activities, including troubleshooting of designs, design for testability, and creation of design/product documentation.
  • Conduct validation/compliance tests and generate test plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in electronics product design and testing, covering areas such as microprocessor/microcontroller system design, memory system designs, logic design for FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices, electronic board level design, Ethernet and USB design, digital electronics power supply circuits, signal integrity measurements, and product testing for environmental and certification test standards.
  • Proficiency with design tools for schematic capture and PCB layout, board level and system level design verification test, EMI noise reduction techniques/countermeasures, and testing to EMC/EMI regulatory certifications.
  • Candidates with experience in functional safety product development with IEC 61508 will have an added advantage.
