Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Editor to join our team. As a Research Editor, you will play a key role in researching, recording, and updating details on individuals and entities from specific countries for our database.

You will work closely with our team of experts to deliver high-quality data, research tools, and services that help our clients meet anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and economic sanctions regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update profiles for various countries and Risk & Compliance contents by monitoring and analyzing relevant publicly available websites and media sources.
  • Extract relevant data adhering to Risk & Compliance coverage guidelines, ensuring that people and entity profiles are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements and tool efficiencies using an automation mindset.
  • Maintain and monitor existing automated workflows.
  • Analyze changes in anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Respond to clients' questions about Risk & Compliance content.
  • Write due diligence reports on companies and/or individuals as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Python, HTML, advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros/VBA programming, and/or SQL.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Proofreading skills and experience in handling large volumes of information.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • A reliable and responsible attitude and ability to work autonomously.
  • An openness to different views and appreciation of team diversity.
  • An ability to work well with others.
  • The ability to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
