Job Title: Assistant Professor

Job Description:

The Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health is seeking a tenure-track faculty member to join its Biostatistics and Modelling Domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing an independent research program, providing statistical support for collaborative research, course design and teaching, and graduate student advising.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in biostatistics and public health applications. A strong track record of publishing in international peer-reviewed journals and experience in leading independent research studies are essential requirements.

A recognized Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline and the ability to generate and maintain an independent stream of funding are also required. Additionally, the ability to teach public health courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels and work in multidisciplinary teams are highly valued.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing an independent research program
  • Providing statistical support for collaborative research
  • Course design and teaching
  • Graduate student advising
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a recognized Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline and a strong post-doctoral research record. A track record of publishing in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals and experience in leading independent research studies are also essential.
