Roles & Responsibilities\

As a senior tunnel engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities with tunnel engineers and crew, while supporting the deputy and tunnel manager in planning and execution of tunneling activities.

  • \
  • Oversee construction activities and progress, plan, implement, and monitor work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.\
  • Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate site activities with subcontractors.\
  • Provide guidance to tunnel engineers and supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained, site inspections are carried out, and technical issues are resolved on time.\
  • Prepare reports and method statements as necessary.\
  • Manage and control workers, monitoring their work closely to maintain a safe and organized site environment.\
  • Be required to work night shifts during tunneling operations.

Qualifications:

\

Hold a minimum degree in civil or mechanical engineering.

\

Experience:

\

Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in the relevant field, and at least 5 years of experience in managing tunneling works of similar scale, complexity, and nature of work.

\

Specific Skills/Abilities:

\

Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD software, team collaboration, and compressed air safety protocols.

\
