We are seeking a skilled Associate Engineer to join our team for Failure Analysis. This role involves detailed examination and characterization of semiconductor device failures, interpreting analytical results, and providing insights to support root cause identification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling FA requests submitted to the Failure Analysis group, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of findings to enable corrective actions and process improvements.

This includes performing hands-on failure analysis (FA) activities including:

  • Die polishing, deprocessing, die sample preparation (coater, SELA wafer cleaving, chemical decoration)
  • Handling of Focused Ion Beam (FIB), Scanning Electron Microscopy (XSEM), EDX analysis tools on semiconductor devices
  • Writing detailed FA reports and updating completed jobs into the FA database
  • Ensuring all FA jobs are completed within the required turnaround time
  • Accepting and processing FA requests from the Fab promptly and accurately

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a lab environment, fluency in English language - written & verbal, and be able to handle chemicals with no physical allergies to common solvents/acids/alkaline.
