Principal Mechanical Specialist

Effective Mechanical Engineering is critical to the success of construction projects. A skilled Mechanical Engineer is required to play a key role in various tasks including:
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Implementation: Responsible for implementing and monitoring all mechanical-related works at site, including ventilation design and airflow calculations.
- Resource Estimation and Planning: Estimate, prepare, and assign resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, and tools required for mechanical and related works.
- Interpretation and Preparation: Interpret drawings, contract documents, and applicable standards or specifications, and prepare method statements and drawings for mechanical and related works.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate with clients' representatives for site instructions and inspections of works.
- Reporting and Monitoring: Prepare site daily reports, inspection requests, and relevant progress monitoring reports.
- Testing and Maintenance: Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and applicable standards, and perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of all equipment on site.
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or recognized degree in a relevant field subject.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
A Mechanical Engineer with expertise in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, SketchUp, and familiarity with civil engineering principles is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results are essential.
