Global Inventory Leadership Opportunity

About the Role

This position will lead a team responsible for planning, order management, wholesale and strategic functions. The role includes developing brand level financial and merchandising plans while executing inventory strategies to meet customer needs.

  • Develop annual financial plans for executive committee approval
  • Provide forecasts and sales, inventory and margin data to stakeholders
  • Communicate inventory position and budget details to senior leadership
  • Demonstrate leadership and communicate strategy across all functions
  • Identify business opportunities and implement action to maximize financial objectives
Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing current business and taking action to maximize inventory productivity
  • Developing and submitting monthly daily sales data to finance
  • Reviewing business and strategy with executive staff to identify trends and opportunities
  • Managing inventory flow to ensure appropriate in-stock rates
  • Maximizing inventory opportunities and minimizing liabilities
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of retail experience, 5 years of people management experience and 5 years of inventory planning and distribution experience. They must possess a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Business Management. Key skills include meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
