Surgical Pathologist Opportunity in Singapore

We are seeking an experienced surgical pathologist to join our team in a tertiary hospital in Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with surgical pathology colleagues to provide anatomical pathology services to the main hospital and potentially other facilities.
The responsibilities of this role include diagnostic reporting, intraoperative consults, validation and quality control of laboratory processes, leadership of the surgical pathology service, and consultative services to staff of various clinical disciplines in the hospital.
Key requirements for this position include a medical degree suitable for registration with the Singapore Medical Council, as well as a specialist postgraduate qualification such as FRCPA, FRCPath with CCT from the UK, American Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology from the US, or Australasian Fellowship for accreditation as a Specialist Pathologist with the Singapore Specialists Accreditation Board.
- Diagnostic reporting of general histopathology and cytopathology cases
- Intraoperative consults
- Validation and quality control of laboratory processes
- Leadership of the surgical pathology service
- Consultative services to staff of various clinical disciplines
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with regular interaction with surgical and oncology services from the hospital and other institutions.
